To my socially lit people out there who love that "comp life" or complimentary life and those who are socially plugged into the afterwork/nightlife networks in the NYC tri-state area, y'all already know what it is about but to those on the outside looking in, I have a couple of questions?
Tired of paying for entry at the same old clubs or venues?
Tired of repeatedly spending your money at bars on overpriced drinks?
Tired of the occasional fights at the club or folks that can't hold their liquor?
Well, in this lane you don't have to worry about any of that because when you're "in the loop & with the "in crowd" you're already on the list so there's are no worries cause everything is free, like free99. Your only payment is your attention: Attention to your own behavior & manners, your social graces and how well you get along with others. Good character, attitude, decorum and networking skills are everything you need "in the "loop"!

Holiday party season just concluded and it was again a real goodie this year in NYC! November and December was another memorable and unforgettable months in the social scene. As with all of these events and parties, the experiences, the celebs, the food, the drinks, the venue and most importantly the people are always fun, interesting, cool and fly "in the loop"! Sharpen your pencil, pull up your chairs and clean the wax out of those ears and listen up! See, one thing you need to know about this social scene is it's about who you know! You gotta know somebody who knows somebody to get in and there are levels to attain once you're in!. Another thing Flyzel keeps preaching (sometimes I speak in 3rd person lol) is about character. As my mom use to always tell me "your character can take you places your money can't", so if you like to start fights at parties or you get the "Rams" with you get saucy or drunk, or if your super introverted and want to keep to yourself all the time, for example, then playa, this lane may not be for you! And the funny thing is once you're "in the loop" you kind of don't really need money because at 90% of these events the mid to top shelf liquor and the food are free! Like free 99!!! The cost is beyond money. However, your lack of social graces, social etiquette, decorum, character and being an asshole will have you on the losing end of this lit ass party scene and cost you in the end and in the long run! And don't say you don't care playa cause Flyzel ain't buying that tough talk! Then you'll be like the rest of the guys out the loop, spending their limited resources and money to do the same stuff but with a very limited circle to party and have fun on your down time, which is cool...I guess! See the way I look at it fellas, everyone in the world is either the sponsor or the sponsored, Millions, if not billions of people in this world wants someone to sponsor them or something they are in to. Lets look at the definition of what a sponsor is:" Sponsor-noun An individual or organization that pays some or all of the costs involved in staging a sporting or artistic event in return for something; or Provide funds for a project or activity or the person carrying it out." Oh, so you want some synonyms: Support, finance, putting money up, underwriting, promote or funding. So you see in this world, you're either doing the financing or you're being financed, you're doing the supporting or you're being supported and you're either doing the sponsoring or you're being sponsored. It is almost as simple as that, playa! When you're in the loop, the party scene, the social life a company function, a organization, bar or lounge or a penthouse party that is providing the drinks, the food, good people and the frills then THEY ARE SPONSORING THE EVENT, DUH!!! When you're out on date guess who is usually sponsoring the date? The guy! You! get it!!! And unless you're in the 5 to 10% of dudes in society we would consider "ballers" then your funds and resources are limited for the type of bells and whistles that comes with enjoying what the big city and fancy establishments has to offer. And these women especially the ones who are worth their weight in salt, so to speak, and are fine and pretty as heaven because at the end of the day we want the sex, we gotta spend some money. Either a little, a medium or a lot but you gotta come off of those ends playa. Now some of us have the bread the pay for the frills i.e. the expensive drinks, the expensive food, the high-end club entry fee, etc but on a constant level? Nope! And if you have enough money to do this you are on your way to become broke at the expense of saying that you're " ballin"! We have to think smarter not harder my guys!!! That money that you're spending could go to investing, saving, or making sure your money is not being wasted on liquor and food you're going to shit and piss out eventually. The difference is whose money is being wasted and spent? Yours or the company? When you're in the loop you ain't paying for jackshit!!!! More later on this.... |
